It was a little difficult to find at first, but the apartment itself was very nice from inside, and the owner provided all basic amenities for a comfortable stay. The only challenge we faced was taking our heavy luggage to our apartment at 2nd level on the very narrow round stairs. We enjoyed our stay and the neighborhood.

This property was fantastic for our family, we are 3 teens and parents and this gave us the space we needed comfortably. The only issue we had was the property was not ready at the said time and we had to wait for another hour. However we would book it again and recommend others to do so.

The flat had a washer which was great but not much amenities were provided except for cutlery. Unfortunately the flat was not well maintained so we did rate it low. The location was spot on we not only had a wonderful view of gondolas passing by but since it was in The area of San Marco we were walking distance from the important sites in Venice. It was pretty run down and you could hear the people above us pulling and dragging chairs which was annoying. It was fun staying there and they provided easy to follow instructions to where the flat was all the way from the stop we had to get off of the Vaporetto to the streets that lead up to the front door. Thank you for the stay

The property was spacious and clean however difficult to find. Unfortunately my email was blocked and couldn’t receive messages. When I called to ask how to get in she was extremely rude and not patient.

Good location. However, we ran into a few issues. First our main door knob was not secured in door and would easily come out. The batteries in the AC remote also weren’t working. We reported it and were told someone would come and fix it asap. No one ended up coming. We could also hear the people above us pretty well. Mosquitos were all over the place in the apartment so be aware of that.

Easy, comfortable and close to the attractions

Great place to stay! Apparently there was some issues with the olumming below us but what can you expect from old beautiful buildings! Located close to everything we wanted to see and easy to find.

Apartment was spacious, clean and great location. Close to the all the beautiful attractions, water-bus, restaurants and grocery store. Only thing that I would have liked was a light in the front of apartment as it was very dark when returning in the evening. Good communication from property via WhatsApp when we had questions. I would book again in future.

Beautiful apt with windows opening onto canal. Needed better instructions on how to enter codes at gate and doors. Need instructions on how to operate washing machine and more space to hang clothes. Absolutely need GPS to find your way to this apt. We walked, with luggage, to apt but beware you go up and down lots of stairs on the way there.

Difficult communication, unable to fix issues

Very difficult to find with google maps. No visible signage in front of appartment. The location and view are great. We were able to see many gondolas pass by. Communication was the worst I have ever seen. As soon as I paid the last bit (the visitor's tax) and received thecodes, there was NO communication. They put only 3 pillows instead of 5. Never came to bring the extra ones. Difficult nights. The door handle came out. Nobody came to fix it. My problem is not the mistakes, these happen. The real issue is the lack of communication andno effort to fix them. I tried different ways to contact them: through the app and via email, with no answer, to this day. The general company, Wonderful Italy, sent me a request for general comments, which I did. Still, they did not answer my questions. Would not recommend.

Positives: location and directions to find the unit. If they didn’t give such detailed instructions you would never find it. Negatives (this is long). The unit was very dirty. Floors were so gross and bedding was stained. The walls were literally falling apart. No joke falling apart. Squished mosquitos and cob webs all over the walls. Multiple vents covered with paper and masking tape. The beds were SO uncomfortable. You feel every spring in the mattress. There were no spare linens. The sofa bed for my children had only a sheet. We had to buy a blanket. Deadbolt would not work. It has metal blocking it. We were given 2 rolls of toilet paper for 5 people for 4 nights. We asked for more and got a partial roll. We asked again and got no response. We had to buy toilet paper. We spent a lot of money for 4 nights, I would at least expect enough toilet paper and blankets for the amount of registered guests. I would not stay there again unless the price was dramatically reduced. The photos online are obviously quite old and it just hasn’t been maintained. Photos do not reflect current condition at all.
