"The area around the property is an old town that has seen better days. Some properties have been restored beautifully and there is some amazing medieval architecture. Very close by is free, convenient parking and the area felt very safe. The patron is charming and helpful and the owner of a nearby excellent restaurant, serving wonderful food. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable and we slept very well. Breakfast was continental and more than adequate."

"A last minute stopover to break up a long trip and for €65 we could not have asked for more. The check in process was smooth and easy. The receptionist spoke very good English (after my painful attempt at checking us in in french!) The rooms were exceptionally clean. The beds were extremely comfy and we slept so well! "The Chateau is stunning, our check in was very good and our room lovely. However, to be clear, although it's marketed on websites such as Hotels.com, it is not a hotel in the traditional sense. There is no service provided at all apart from an average, 'self serve' breakfast. The photos we saw online of beautiful pastries unfortunately did not materialise. There was a coffee machine in our room, but no coffee! We had to go down 3 floors to find a coffee pod, for which we were charged extra. I...
