"The apartment is in a great location for the market, the palace and many bars and restaurants - all within easy walking distance as is Avignon Centre Gare. There are some stairs (no lift) but manageable even for a 76 year old. An excellent base for exploring Avignon. Great hosts, very helpful."

"The listing description is mostly accurate but it left out two very important items when staying in Avignon in the July heat. First- there is no air conditioning. It was 100 degrees during our stay and the bedrooms are in the attic and the apartment is on the second floor. It was so incredibly hot in the evening, it was difficult to sleep.
