"Incredible! By far the best place I have ever had the pleasure of staying. We had a group of 25 and lots of younger children. Everything was amazing, the staff, the amenities, the entertainment, the whole vibe of the resort was incredible. The kids were so entertained, from morning to night. Kids club was available, however we did not use once as our kids loved the daily activities available! The staff were absolutely fantastic! They went above and beyond to provide such a fantastic atmosphere for everyone staying at resort. I cannot recommend this resort enough, especially for families. If you want to experience true Fijian culture, this is the place to be. We cannot wait to return, as 1 week was just not enough for us all. A true tropical paradise"

"The staff are lovely and the provided meals were delicious. Access to lots of good activities at reasonable prices. The pool was fun though it does get a little cold, especially if windy. Bring wetsuits for kids. The rooms are nice but be aware they are all standalone with access via outdoor pathways and there is some distance between some of them - totally fine for adults but may or may not be suitable for young kids in their own room.The reef is very shallow at low tide and the villa applies a rule that guest may only access the reef two hours either side of high tide to protect the coral. So it’s important to plan around high tide if you want to snorkel or kayak. If high tide is in the afternoon when it can be very windy, it may not be pleasant. The coral just off the beach is beautiful and world class for snorkeling. Swim out about 2/3 of the way to the break for the best areas. The first 100 metres or so is shallow and not amazing but it gets incredible further out."

"Lovely place to stay! Can’t make any complaints. Affordable meals and drinks. I stayed in the dorm. Only a few PowerPoints but we made do! Easy enough to catch a bus to and from!"

"It was our first stay in Fiji and Maui Palms was the most wonderful experience. The apartment, amenities and grounds were amazing. Being right on the beach was beautiful and we were able to do a lot of activities through the resort. Although the standout were all of the lovely friendly and helpful staff! We loved our stay and will definitely be back."

"We had a nice time at this resort which provided us with plenty of space to lounge about. We visited during the windy season so the kayaking and snorkelling wasn't ideal, but the variety of fish life was pretty good (we even spotted a small reef shark). The pool was surprisingly quite cool ... a little too cold for us most days but the reef is nice and warm! Best part was the cooking from chef Jay as his food is delicious and priced very fairly compared to the surrounding large resorts. The resort is within convenient walking distance of a few basic restaurants and a small supermarket for essentials. We didn't rent a car but would recommend doing so, as the cost of airport transfers and getting around with Immy's Tours was very expensive and in retrospect, not worth it."
