"Quaint and homey. The owners went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The hotel is more like a B and B in scale and coziness. The rooms were perfect and the breakfasts were excellent—especially the fresh bread and truly homemade jams!"

"If you are after a truly Swedish experience, this must be it. Located next to a lake, which gives it its name, the hotel offers old world charm. An excellent breakfast and good dinner round it off. Just keep in mind that this is an historic property so rooms are a little smaller but cozy and with good beds."
