"We were only able to stay one night, but our night at the Vallombrosa vineyard was very peaceful. The hosts were very helpful and kind and were gracious to bring me some emergency supplies. Although the property lies in a beautiful setting, it’s important to note that it takes at least 30 minutes to get to Lugano and the lake by car. "Love these types of hotels! Minimal, but with everything you need. Bed very comfortable, especially mattress! We had a nice meal - nothing fancy and a terrific Negroni. We got there via bus from Milano Centrale Train Station and walked a short distance to hotel. We left by walking directly across street to pick up shuttle bus to airport Terminal - both Terminal A or B buses. Easy breezy! p.s. Staff is terrific!!!!!!!"
