"My wife and I love going to the Taos Inn for special occasions. We love the whole vibe there: it’s cozy, comfortable and friendly. We start in the bar where we always have a fun bartender and server. A side note: that bar is one of the FEW in the state that have the ingredients for a Rusty Nail!! Thank you. Then it’s over to Doc Martin’s for a delicious dinner. There is always music in the lobby area to wrap up the evening. But unfortunately we had an issue during this stay. It was raining that day and into the night. In the morning there was a lake of water in the back parking area?! You could have had game and fish come in and stock it with rainbow trout. It made for very tricky navigation to get to our car. Very unacceptable in light of the fact that a couple truck loads of fill would take care of the problem? This poor worker was out the next morning with a pump trying to get it drained. I would hope this issue gets a serious look. We still recommend staying there with all the Inn has to offer. Let’s just hope scuba gear doesn’t have to be part of your luggage necessity on your trip."
