"Stayed with a group of friends (6). Found the place to be exactly what we wanted. Having 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets handy for a group. All tvs were smart TVs, so that was a bonus. Would absolutely recommend."
FAMILY FRIENDLY weekend getaway on the Yorke Peninsula
8/10 Good
"Just being honest. The house was easily accessible and very clean. The bedrooms were really roomy and the bed was extremely comfortable. Just the one bathroom but an extra toilet. The downsides were that there is no wifi which isnt a real problem if you want to disconnect for a few days but most places I have stayed usually had wifi. The bathroom was very clean but the shower is over the bathtub, which is difficult for people with mobility issues. As it was my husband didnt use the shower for the 2 days we were there.Only some of the gas jets on the stove worked. There was no hairdryer, iron, dishcloths, rubbish bin liners or front light. This should be included in the info when booking. I would have taken my own hairdryer if I had known so I didnt go out into the cold with wet hair. The TV remote was defective (might have just needed batteries). These are all just minor issues but I feel like they need to be mentioned so the next person can make an informed decision about where to stay. The house has plenty of things to keep children occupied and a lovely maintained back yard to play."
Sea La Vie - Absolute beachfront! Amazing sea views! Off peak special!
10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful stay at this home. The front of the house deceives the jewel that is within. There was plenty of comfortable beds for our group and the open plan kitchen and two sliding doors that open onto the patio provided a picturesque view of the ocean and island beyond. The setting is beautiful and we would definately stay here again. Thank you for making it available for rental. The beach, however, is not recommended for swimming as there are rocks all along the foreshore and in the shallows. Also, the township is tiny with very few shops and only a corner store open when we were there. It is a must to bring your own supplies, which can be bought at one of the larger towns. The hotel is very popular and the meals were highly recommended. Sadly, despite the sign saying it would be open, the very affordable Marine Museum remained closed while we were at Port Victoria. We highly recommend this rental accomodation."
"Love this little gem. Great location, right on the beach.. for fishing or swimming. Close to store, coffee shop and restaurant. Everything you need is available within the property great views and beautifull balcony "

Reviewer Comments:
Our stay was fabulous however, the aircon kept turning off which made the room my infant was staying to become hot overnight which was a concern as he isn't able to regulate his temperature yet. We managed to work around this by continuously turning it on during the night but it was frustrating. The house was clean but every now and then I would find balls of black curly hair from a previous guest. Also, one of the bean bags has a hole in it so little bean bag balls kept coming out."
