The magical path to the beach is lit with fairy lights and although a fire ban was in place during our visit we enjoyed their deck fire pit on crisp October nights. The house is secluded and surrounded by beautiful fall foliage. Internet and a large screen smart tv are available for rainy days. Not a sound was heard or a living soul spotted during our stay and we slept oh so well. Our only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer. John and Sandy are responsive hosts and we highly recommend their lovely home. "

"We had an incredible stay at Lazy Bear cottage! The view was absolutely stunning, and the hosts Alexandra and the Mashaghati family thought of everything. The interior was spotless, with charming decor that made the space feel cozy and welcoming. The bed was super comfy, and there were plenty of towels provided for both the hot tub and bathroom. We especially appreciated the thoughtful extras like robes and slippers, which added a luxurious touch. After long days of exploring the beauty of Cape Breton, the hotter and fire pit on the porch were the ultimate way to unwind - peaceful, relaxing, and just perfect. Every amenity was provided, even coffee to start our mornings right. This rental truly sets the bar for what all others should strive to achieve. A five-star experience in every way! "
