Country Houses in Umbria

Booked last minute on our trip to Assisi not really knowing about this gem, but turned out to be the best! Very friendly staff. The location is just the best if your planing a trip to Assisi. The views are amazing and your not far from the basílica of st francis and Maria degli angeli. The best !

Absolutely Stunning! The grounds and rooms are first class! The staff is friendly and helpful in all aspects during the stay. Peaceful and serene is an understatement. Food and breakfast at the resort is top notch. Other dining options near the resort are amazing. Al Baciamano and Seven Cafe are great stops. Close enough to Tuscany day trips. Will definitely stay again and share with friends looking for a relaxing first class stay and amenities.

We were the only guests for 2 nights out of 3, at this lovely B&B on the estate of one of the best wineries in Tuscany. We had sumptuous room with a living room, bedroom and bathroom (nice shower!) all to ourselves. INCREDIBLE! This was our favorite place in Italy, it was like living in a fairy tale. Beautiful view, wonderful restaurant, accommodations and service were above and beyond. A beautiful hotel, amazing pool (the top one) for lazying about for a day. Restaurant was only ok, same for the food by the pool.

We've had a very good experience with this stay. The property is located in an open environment with a stunning surrounding view. Sleeping in a 1300 years old, stone room was definitely a rare opportunity. The staff was very helpful and courteous. I would definitely recommend this to friends.

Beautiful, seculded hilltop estate with great view and beautiful grounds. Nice pool. Hosts were warm and inviting and dinner of regional cuisine was good. Rooms are large and relatively sparse with minimal amenities, and beware there is no A/C. Breakfast was simple. They produce award winning olive oil available for purchase.

Veronica at the front desk is amazing. She made me feel so welcome. the buildings and grounds are stunning.

We had a wonderful time at the wine tasting offered by the property. Breakfast was excellent. It was helpful to have parking as you need transportation there.

The view was absolutely amazing. Horses and donkey roaming around the property was pretty cool,we were able to pet them, The place is family owned , the owner was supper nice and helpful, they have a restaurant on site , we have an amazing frsh meal. Absolutely recommend !

My adult daughter and I were guests for a week at La Gabelletta, and I look forward to returning as soon as I can. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable, the hosts gracious and welcoming, the site mellow and warm, the pool clean and cool. Our blood pressures dropped measurably. We dined splendidly on homemade pastas, crisp, ripe melon with aged prosciutto and wonderful lamb chops off the grill.
