"Negatives; 1. Last 30 metres of climb to the property was extremely steep. 2. The bed (a pull our couch) was the hardest that we have ever experienced. 3. The owner/host spoke zero English. 4. She showed us an unacceptable small unit, which we declined, until showing us a larger one with a view (which we had paid for). 5. "The hospitality and surroundings were exceptional. We greatly enjoyed our 2-week stay in rural Umbria, a part of Italy which remains Italian. The scenery is wonderful and if you enjoy cycling, walking or simply taking-in the unspoilt landscapes, this is certainly the place to stay. The property is maintained in excellent condition, has plenty of space and all the facilities you could reasonable ask for, and the owner lives only 30 minutes away should he be needed."
