Great location, nice hotel, and nice staff!! At first i was a little worried I couldnt find a website but it was so easy and the locals new of Mumbul Abud. Such a great location and the rooms were nice, safe and close to everything for solo travelers!

Friendly staff and perfect location for exploring Ubud. The rooms are located back from the main (busy) road, it is surprisingly quiet and the beautiful view makes it feel secluded. Rooms are clean and has all amenities required.

It's a nice place to stay at, in an excellent location. It's next to the lovely Water Palace and you can eat at the restaurant overlooking it. The art markets and Ubud Palace are so close too. Although it's in the main street, it's not noisy, because it's set back from the road amongst gardens and the pool, and the rooms have sound proofing. It's a very Balinese looking establishment and very nice.

My husband and I stayed at Mumbul Ubud for three nights and really loved the property. The room was beautiful and both the room and bathroom were huge! Also, being set behind other buildings on the main street meant it was fairly quiet. The location was very convenient as everything is so close. Ubud Palace, the Water Palace and the Art Market are like a block away, the Sweet Orange trail is right next door and the Capuhan Ridge Walk is like 5-10 minute walk away. We could even walk to the Ubud Monkey Forest in like 20 minutes.

Nothing to fault during my stay. I am so happy I decided on Mumbul. It was perfect in every way for me. Solo female traveller. I loved the random cats and resident dog was a legend. Pool area was serene, so many beautiful plants, flowers, ornate objects, carvings - I was surrounded by beauty, I was in total heaven. Wonderful and friendly staff. My room was amazing, loved it all. Thank you :-) I'll be back when I visit Ubud again in 2027 :-)

If you just want a cheap place to stay in Ubud and not spend much time there this place will suffice. But honestly the room was not particularly clean, the sink drained poorly, and we happened to stay while there was a musical festival going on which was very loud at bed time. (Yes, can't expect the middle of Ubud to be silent at all hours) The staff are very nice and helpful and I understand at this cost point you should not expect much, but if you can afford something a bit nicer I would have gone for it.

The property was nice overall. The pool was lovely. The property was a little older looking in real life than in photos but I think that is fair of many places in Ubud. Staff were helpful & communicated over WhatsApp. The shower / hot water wasn't great overall.

There was some construction on the other side of the property but it didn’t bother me at all. I loved my room. It was so quiet being so close to the Main Street. The air condition was great. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I also appreciated that the outlets could fit multiple types of prongs so I didn’t need my adapter to use my U.S. chargers. I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing! Great location, right next to the main markets and temples. So many restaurants and shops within walking distance. The property was beautiful. It’s a bit tucked away though. Follow signs for Mumbul Tattoo.

We actually stayed at the OMA property out of Ubud. It was fortuitous as it prompted us to explore more of the region. Beautiful stylish facilities and extremely comfortable. Staff were great. The relaxing stay that we were looking for away from the bustle of Ubud itself.

I absolutely loved this charming stay. Right in the center of Ubud, yet discreetly tucked away to feel like a secluded resort. The staff is so kind and very welcoming. The room was well-equipped with water, a mini-fridge, tv, and a few little things such as clean and new comb, shave kit, etc. There was a small balcony that opened up to lots of nature and a small creek down bellow. Would definitely book again!

Despite being extremely close to one of the busiest streets in Ubud, I was pleasantly surprised at just how quiet it was here. An oasis of tranquility within the craziness of Ubud. Our room was lovely, with an amazing view of the river and forest below. Staff were super friendly, and could not do enough for you. The only downside was the boiler is quite small so you cannot have a long shower, but this is a minor issue and not something which mattered much to us. Would still recommend as everything is within walking distance, and the further out spots are a short bike ride away (but that would go for any accommodation in central Ubud).

Lovely place place to stay. Close to the main strip, but away from the noise. The property is clean and the staff was helpful. Didn't get the chance to try the food. Pool area was nice and quiet. Some minor things need to be taken care of: found some ants in the bedroom and the toilet. Some more pest control is to be considered. The safe inside the closet was not working. Someone came in to try to fix it, but unfortunately it wasn't fixed. Overall, a very good experience. I would come back!

Amazing location right in the center of Ubud but tucked away off the Main Street so it was surprisingly serene. It is connected to the Water Palace/Saraswati Temple and Lotus cafe, where breakfast is served. Staff were super kind. The only reason I didn’t give it a higher rating is that there were bed bugs. I told the staff on departure after only staying one night and was not offered any compensation.

I cannot say enough great things about the hotel. I reserved at this hotel, because my original hotel was very noisy. The two hotels were very close, and I was a little skeptical since it is located right in the heart of the city. To my surprise, the hotel was super Quiet and it had a great view with lots of nature around. It is the best of both worlds, right in the middle of town with lots of choices to eat and shop, and it feels very secluded in the middle of the rainforest. I am so glad I found this place.

Great value

If you are in the room next to "reception” and you take a shower, everyone there will see you naked. Also, since the doors and windows aren’t completely sealed, there are some mosquitos inside the room. The location is a little hidden and you have to go through an alley that isn’t nice. Apart from that, for the price it is probably the best option, the staff is friendly and the place is nice.
