"We stayed for 3 nights on our first stop in Scandinavia. The rooms were clean, the beds were extremely comfortable (my husband and I are extremely picky about beds, due to our love of naps and as little back/shoulder pain as possible. ESPECIALLY while fighting back against jet lag,) and the water pressure is great once you figure out the knobs. You do need to be fairly nimble to make it in and out if the shower as there is a rather large step up/down wh entering and exiting. The location was perfect for us, with a beautiful view of the harbor. We slept with the windows open each night, and heard only minimal noise (the bagpiper, and the accordion player were so lovely in the evening, especially while soaking in the tub.) Looking out at the view from our room felt like sleeping in one of those Christmas villages people put on their mantles during the holidays.
Another MASSIVE star for this hotel is the breakfast. It was vast, and the quality of the food was terrific. Bergen is an extremely expensive city to eat in and having a great breakfast includes helped a lot!
10/10 would stay again."
