"The bar and atmosphere were amazing! This hotel was super busy with tour buses and big groups coming through. The food is great and the service excellent! The building is old and needs updated badly. The room showed signs of being very old and not professionally maintained. Faucets leaked, carpet old, bathroom tub left a lot to be desired. Overall I would stay there again, very family friendly. Just understand it is an older hotel."

"Ennis is a beautiful village and Old Ground is right in the middle. Poet's Corner is excellent. My wife said her meal was the best of any meal she had on a 2 week visit to Ireland and Scotland. Bed slept like a dream. Staff was helpful. Ever a property cat at the door to welcome you to the hotel."

"The staff at reception were very welcoming and efficient. The 'deluxe' room overlooked the golf course. The bedroom was dated but the superking bed was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very disappointing, quite dated with limescale and mould on taps and shower head. The shower curtain was mouldy and bath mat clean but discoloured with age. I've stayed in better premier Inn rooms. There was a good selection on offer for breakfast."
