"I understand the saying, “you get what you pay for,” but this hotel felt a bit overpriced for what it offers. The surrounding environment didn’t feel very comfortable or suitable for three women traveling together. It seems more like a place that would work well for truckers rather than families or small groups of women. The breakfast was also not very appealing for us, though it might be fine for travlers with different expectations. Overall, it doesn’t have a family-friendly atmosphere. That said, the room itself was very clean, and the bed was comfortable, which we appreciated. I hope this review helps give a clearer picture of the type of hotel this is."

"This roadside motel was better than I thought it would be, some smelly neighbors outside (cow pens), but clean and redone inside where the smell did not exist. No other amenities to speak of. I would not hesitate to crash here on a late night again."

"If I could give 10 stars for value, I would. The cabin was exactly as described. This place is ideal in terms of location and amenities. If you're looking for a place to hang your hat as you enjoy multiple days in the park, this is definitely the place to stay. It had everything we needed to make hot meals, grill nice dinners, cleanup, and enjoy TV in the evenings as we decompressed. A mile from the park entrance, we were able to get an early start each day to beat the heat and the traffic. Anything you could want from town was a mere 15 minutes away. Tracy was onsite. She was very friendly and eager to assist with our stay. It was just the two of us that ended up making the trip. It might be a little snug for three grown adults but doable if you manage the space right. I highly recommend and look forward to returning."

"The property was beautiful! The host welcomed us with snacks and gave us a detailed overview of the property, along with details regarding things to do in the area. She even let us know about a great place to catch the colors of Palo Duro Canyon at sunset. The kitchen was amazingly stocked with anything yoy could possibly need for cooking. It was very pet friendly with water bowls inside and out. And the wildlife, including Aoudad sheep and mule deer were a special treat."
