"The hotel is only about 25 minutes drive from the airport. It’s located next to a sandy beach and a private yacht club. It’s a little bit remote but taxi is quite cheap, so travelling to central Hong Kong is not a problem. The seaview room is spacious and has a nice view of the yacht club, sea front, swimming pool and garden. The fitting and fixtures are a bit dated. The cleaning is ok but can be better - the interior of the cupboards and wardrobe is very dusty and seems to be never cleaned....
"Location at the airport was perfect for catching a flight with just a short walk in the airport to both terminals. Also great for getting buses into the city. Good breakfast choice. Various eating venues within the hotel."
"Excellent as always. Although some rooms are a little dated and there is no indication of whether a room has a shower or a bathtub, the overall experience is still top notch. I would argue that Novotel Citygate is the best airport hotel in Hong Kong due to the fact that it has frequent coaches to and from the airport and its close proximity to Tung Chung Station. There are a lot of things to do in the area and the buffet was superb. If memory serves right, they also have special coaches to SAT...
