"The hotel looks nice but it was about a 10 minutes walk from the Sapporo train station and further away from restaurants and shops.
I was disappointed with the cleanliness of my room. The bathroom smelled like sewage when I got into the room and I asked the staff to clean the bathroom, but the male staff that came to check the room looked like I was making it up so I didn't appreciate this. They did add an extra bathroom cleaning since they only cleaned the rooms once during my 4 night stay.
Even after the two cleanings, the bathroom still smelled bad and I found that there was a leak coming from the toilet during one of my last days. The hotel should pay closer attention to the cleanliness and this detail. Because of the smelly bathroom and the hotel not offering to switch my room during my entire stay, I would not stay at this hotel again.
However, one staff member was exceptional in providing high quality service despite the issues with the bathroom. I want to give praise to Ms. Tamara Mitsuki, she was very responsive and attentive to my issues. "
