"As in previous reviews, no internet connection. Strangely able to get netflix on both bedroom tv’s but not on the main one.
Lovely living space & bed very comfortable. Good location on site and all areas of park dog friendly. Would return.
Could possibly get better quality frying pans. Both warped when using. "

"Good location but I think they should include a note to us to read the owner’s message. Car park is just next to the lodge. But there are several area of improvement:-
No laundry machine
Extremely slow WiFi it took us several min to send a WhatsApp message
Very hard to open the main door
There should be an instruction of how use the Safe
No tissue box and sponge

"The stay at the cottage was good. It is positioned on a busy road but it quiets down later at night. There is a shop at the petrol station that has everything you will need for the stay and close to bus tops to take to Ambleside and Windermere.
The beds are on the soft side but not uncomfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped but he had to buy paper kitchen towels, bin bags and dishwasher tablets.
All in all, our stay was great. We would stay here again. "

"Lovely clean kings size room with own patio to sit and enjoy the sun. There’s about 4 different areas to park at . Staff very helpful and with a smile when serving also a bar and lounge to sit, we didn’t use it but it’s there"
"Reception staff are lovely and very friendly
Hotel has recently been upgraded and some work is still ongoing, some more work in the garden by the lake is required.
There is a lovely pool, sauna, jacuzzi and steam room which we luckily had complementary access to due to the ongoing works.
Be aware that there is normally a charge of £20 per person/ per day
Breakfast staff were a little rude and are too busy to clean plates from your table. Freshly cooked breakfast and a choice of cereal, fruit, cakes and toast"
"Beautiful. Elegant. Imposing. The hotel is a stunning place to stay. We got an upgrade room overlooking the lake.
Fantastic location in Bowness-on-Windermere and a hot buffet breakfast overlooking the lake in the morning."
"This is our second visit to this hotel. It is well placed for wandering around the area and boat trips. The bedroom was spotless and bed comfy. All staff friendly and attentive. Breakfast was fresh and tasty with plenty of choice "
"We had a relaxing couple of days.
The staff were first class.
Our room was clean & spacious with a lovely double kingsize bed.
The service was spot on the food was of good quality, fresh & local I believe.the spa facilities are good and inclusive with extra treatments available for a fee.
We came away from there feeling relaxed & refreshed.
Would we go back…yes
