"We chose this property because of how close it was to the Split Airport. It was an 8 minute drive (with several places to refuel if you have a rental car). The apartment was clean and spacious. It was across from a beach with beach bar and cafe. It was a short walk to the promenade. It is on a fairly busy road but it didn’t bother us. "I can’t say enough good things about Villa Fontana and the staff! We had not planned to stay here however due to travel delays we booked this hotel around 11 PM the night we needed lodging. We called to ensure we could check in so late and the clerk came back to the villa to meet us! He assisted us with parking, where to eat and allowed us to check out a little later in the morning. He was a life saver! The villa was clean and comfortable and the morning staff was just as helpful allowing us to store our luggage so we could eat and do a little bit of exploring before heading out. We plan to return to Croatia and will definitely stay here again!"
