"The place is fine. But it’s not high end or anything so come prepared. Clean, but dated. The staff was generally good but not super helpful or accommodating. We ate at all restaurants and they were average and overpriced for the food quality. But there isn’t much up in the area so considering that we were happy with what we got."

"Our cabin was very cozy, just outside of town and super quiet and relaxing. We were greeted with kitchenette stocked with popcorn, tea, hot chocolate and coffee. What a great place for a quiet nights sleep!"

"The description does not mention how many rooms will be sharing the bathroom upfront. Bill and Grace are gracious hosts otherwise and they arrange for breakfast which is very sweet but we did get delayed because of the bathroom situation as 6 of us were sharing one"

"This private, serene cabin was exactly what we wanted for our family while visiting! The outdoor screened in area was spectacular and so beautiful to sit in during a light rain. We had a great amount of room and appreciated the toiletries included and coffee for the morning! We definitely recommend the trails to the river as well! They are well maintained and very enjoyable! They aren’t strenuous at all and my two young children were able to enjoy them as well with ease!"

"The hotel located in walking distance from Talkeetna center in about 10min on a quiet street. Very small basic room. At least, we had 2 queen beds and private bathroom. No microwave in the room. Kind of old outdated interior with dust under the beds and mice smell in the hall. But pretty clean bedding and bathroom. We used this place just for overnight stay. Did not use amenities much or explore dining/breakfast option. We had a dinner and next day breakfast on main street."
