"I booked a single room and the room was fine, however, there's been a heatwave in the UK and it continued while I was staying at this hotel. I would have thought that, given there is no air conditioning in the hotel rooms and the heatwave was ongoing, a fan would have been provided. My room faced west so it was quite hot and it didn't cool down much as the evening progressed because there was no cross breeze - just one window on one side of the room. "Loved the room, nice and airy, big fan supplied for the heat. Very picturesque surroundings, beside a cool babbling stream with plenty of shade and colourful plants. Excellent internet connection. Bit of a surprise there was no restaurant, only a small bar area above the leisure facilities, however there was provision in the room to heat with a microwave and crockery and cutlery to suit bringing a takeaway back. Would have preferred specific warning on the website so I could have arrived...

"Nice little one night stopover visiting Bude. Ample parking and easy to find. Straight road into Bude. A little isolated so make sure you buy supplies from Bude on the way back. A few spiderwebs and bugs in the room when we arrived but only because the window was left open thankfully because it was such a hot day. Paula the host was very helpful and friendly start to finish. Will stay again if we visit Bude again."
