"While we appreciated how responsive Dolors was, we felt that for how much money we were spending, the unit could be nicer. The photos were slightly misleading - the unit is a bit older, sparsely decorated, a bit noisy next door to a few restaurants and the shower nozzle height was strangely high. We would suggest if you are coming by train and looking to visit the main beach town, staying in a unit like this may be inconvenient."

"El apartamento está reformado y dispone de aire acondicionado que siendo el último piso viene muy bien. La urbanización tiene piscina y es muy tranquila, se notan los años pero está cuidada. El garaje esta en el interior de la urbanización lo que resulta bastante cómodo y está incluido en el precio. La ubicación es excelente porque la playa está a unos minutos andando. "We had a very enjoyable stay at Hotel Pigal in central Tarragona, Spain. The location is excellent—within a reasonable walking distance of the Roman amphitheater, the port, the old town, the central market, and plenty of restaurants. What really stood out, however, was the exceptional hospitality from Charlie, the hotel owner/manager. He was incredibly helpful and spoke excellent English. When we arrived, he immediately took the time to personally show us where to park, which was especially helpful in a busy central location. Charlie also spent considerable time with us going over a city map, pointing out the key sights and explaining the best ways to get around Tarragona. I noticed that he did the same for other guests as well, which says a lot about the personal attention he gives to his guests. He also clearly explained how to use the communal meal area and made sure we had everything we needed. Our room was clean, comfortable, and efficiently arranged—exactly what we needed for our stay. The hotel is also very reasonably priced for such a convenient central location. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a clean, well-located, reasonably priced hotel with genuinely personal service. Charlie makes Hotel Pigal feel much more welcoming than a typical hotel."

"Lovely hotel over looking the sea. Very clean. Reception area modern. Breakfast has everything you could ask for, many people were all inclusive but cannot comment on evening meals. Drinks were nice and not overly priced. Walking distance to the beach minutes away. Few restaurants and bars 10 min walk in cap salou but not that much of a choice.Nice promenade walk into Salou which takes around 35-45mins, bus for €2 at the top of the hill if you prefer, or taxi is around €10. Hotel has nice pool including an indoor one, outside has a nice amount of sunbeds which we found there was always space. Rooms nice size with balcony. Wardrobe , free safe, fridge with complmentry drinks presumably if only b&b. Definitely recommend this hotel."
