"Credit to start with the negatives then the positives because they can’t impact the decision to go and stay there right now. The biggest issue is the roadworks on Carlton Street and the fact that we weren’t told that the parking was actually on Wood Street so we spent a lot of time effort and frustration trying to find where we were able to park. The lot itself is also incredibly cramped so if you aren’t a great Parker, I would avoid using that facility. It also cost $40 to park which seems quite extreme. On the positive side the hotel is located right downtown so there’s no need to travel and we can still see a lot of the city. They were hopeful getting us cabs so we could go to the amphitheater. As well our room had the best bed I’ve ever slept in as well as the most amazing pillows. An incredibly comfortable sleep. Finally, the upside parking was that we were able to stay in our parking spot until 3 o’clock in the afternoon even though we had to check out at 11 AM. If the hotel provided better details regarding how and where to park and more information about the fact that there were crazy roadwork outside the front of the hotel it would have received a five star review."

"Wonderful hotel, newly renovated, very clean and friendly staff constantly cleaning the lobby. The room was nice and clean. Beds are comfortable. The only downfall was lack of storage in the room but we made due. The included breakfast was superb! Best I've ever had for an included breakfast. The lobby also had a great bar and sandwich counter that had very affordable options. Location is top notch. Walkable to CN tower, Jays game, lots of restaurants and pubs nearby. Also the Dollorama next door was great for snacks, water and whatever other essentials we forgot. For parking, I recommend the Reitmans centre across the street, they have the 24hour hotel rate at $22. Would 100% stay again."
