"Had a nice overnight stay at the Metropolitan Inn. Despite some construction going on in various rooms (remodeling and updated) and the run-down appearance in some areas, the room itself was clean, quiet and super comfortable. All basic needs were covered AND it was affordable - which is a huge plus in this day and age! It's not the ritz, but I was comfortable and would stay there again."

"I booked my room days in advance. When we showed up at 11:00pm our room still wasn’t ready. They had taken a bunch of last minute bookings and filled all the rooms. The room wasn’t clean when we finally got in so I cleaned it up myself. They put us in an adjoining room so we heard our neighbors all weekend. The only thing they accommodated was some free breakfast coupons. Don’t recommend. The staff working that night at the front desk were doing the best they could just unfortunate for them to be in that position also. "

"Rooms were clean, staff were pleasant, parking was convenient. Bathtub had a half wall for the shower and no curtain on the other half, so there was a lot of splash. Ice makers on multiple floors did not work, front desk staff did not know but said they would check into it. Service at the restaurant was inattentive and coffee there was awful, but there is a Starbucks onsite. Seems updated and close to City Creek Mall which is great for the food options. Overall a decent stay. "
