"One night, during which I didn’t venture out, so nothing to report. In the morning, one shower during which the water from the MIRA Electric shower unit, aptly named “Jump” offer either ice cold, or boiling hot versions of the slow spout of water coming from it. I jumped about half a dozen times before giving up, in rinsed and grumpy! I may return, but first, fix the shower."

"2 members of staff very rude and when asked questions could not answer properly , when you arrive at a hotel after 13hrs of travel you want to feel welcomed and looked after, not here."

"Staff were friendly and helpful. Bedroom was clean and was a good size. Bathroom dated, cracked floor tiles. Inbath shower was of fixed height, which made washing difficult if over 5'8. Complentary tea/coffee etc. in room not replenished. Used mugs not removed /replaced. Internet was great. A good variety of options for breakfast, although staff had to be asked to replenish items which were finished. Dinner menu disappointing and limited. More akin to a bar menu than a hotel restaurant. Leisure facilities were good."

"Booked last minute and had good, quick communication with reception staff. Property right in the centre near restaurants and shops. Had to pay extra for parking which I thought a bit expensive at £40 for 2 nights but due to heavy rain on arrival day didn't want to risk parking elsewhere and getting luggage wet. Hotel room very clean and spacious, smart TV in room good. Small kitchenette, a toaster would of been useful for breakfast. Tea mugs tiny for some reason! Bottle of milk in fridge appreciated. Good base for Stirling and surrounding are, would stay again."

"Easy check in with large spacious car park at rear. Very comfy bed and good quality linen. Only 1 chair in room when there was room for a 2nd - I hate having to sit on a bed in a hotel room. Nice clean bathroom, with big fluffy towels. Luggage rack and large wardrobe space. Iron and ironing board, plus hairdryer. No usb sockets, but plenty of 3-pin sockets. Our room was in the basement but was very quiet, and we slept well. Little box of treats in room and a kettle with tea, coffee and shortbread! Shower was better than it looked and lots of hot water. Breakfast excellent with cooked options included in standard rate such as bacon and sausage sandwiches, with additional options for a small supplement, including veggie Scottish breakfast, which was delicious, although the tomato chutney had a kick! Bar area was really nice and we relaxed with a drink before going to bed."

"Very centrally located. Perfect room for a one night stay. There was mention of onsite parking however this was not the case. There is a pay for car park at the rear of the property."

"Daniel Lewis was a great host and this property was a fantastic place to stay. Stirling is a beautiful small town to stay with a close proximity to Edinburgh and is a great place to access the rest of Scotland."
