"The property was fantastic for our family of 6. Had everything we needed and plenty of space. The teenagers couldn’t stop kayaking and enjoying the lake, our smaller kiddos fished from sun up to sun down. We highly recommend this house and Mackie was available anytime we had questions."

Hemlock Campground And Cottages

"This family and pet friendly campground was cozy and fun. They have a pirate ship play ground, giant checkers, connect 4, and tic tac toe. As well as a heated pool that was delightful. The owner was very nice. If our dance team takes us back to the Poconos next year we will definitely return to Hemlock campground"

"Property was amazing! Breathtaking views and very peaceful. Nice big yard to hang out, fish, and play yard games. Fire pit was fantastic as well, right next to the lake! Will be coming back for sure!"

"Located right on the lake ideal for fishing and the kayaks were a great addition. The house and deck furniture and deck space a little dated and run down in parts compared to neighbouring houses but comfortable. Has everything you need however we would have liked some more cutlery and glassware, not a fan of plastic wine glasses. No air con but there were lots of fans, very noisy at night though. Host was lovely and brought us fresh tomatoes from the Amish market when we arrived. Very thoughtful. We seen a black bear at the bins next door, racoons, deer, turtles, eagles and lots of wildlife which was exciting. Note there are lots of ants and spiders on the deck and some spiders in the house so one to note if you are uneasy with creapy crawlies. Overall we had a lovely stay."

"The property is a beautiful lakeside location with great access, privacy, and layout. It’s described accurately in the listing. Communication was speedy and thorough. Location is just a few hundred feet from the community pool, beach, and playground. Deer, geese and ducks were regular and welcome neighbors. There are minor issues with condition that don’t warrant fixing during the stay but are worth noting for review. The dock is old and unstable and needs repair, the microwave door was loose and barely connected, the lawn was not mowed, the grill has seen better days, and in general the overall condition of the property wasn’t stellar. The property is in a gated community that does require a bit of maneuvering and line waiting but was really quite fast considering the volume of guests. The general vibe of the community was that of a party destination but we were quite pleased with the peace and quiet that this specific house location provided. We had a great stay and appreciate the service. It worked well for our family getaway but we were left wanting a bit more on overall quality."

"Bluewood Escape was everything that it described. The location was very quiet. The house was very clean and well maintained. Lots of things to do for the family and very well stocked. We loved being outside and enjoyed the hot tub, sauna, and fire ring. Being able to use the facilities at the Pocono Farms Community Club was also an added bonus. Would definitely return to this destination. Communication with the host was very easy and the check out was easy as well. Definitely recommend!"
