"The description was incorrect. It said bathroom, but there was not a bathroom, but a toilet behind a glass door and a shower behind a glass door, so you heard and saw everything. The pictures were deceiving, since there was no separate bathroom. We had booked a courtyard view, but there was no courtyard we could see. Since it was called UMusic Hotel with a music hall venue, we were unable to see any music being performed while we were there for 5 nights. We asked to see the music being performed, but were told we were not allowed in for any of the shows. Highly disappointed with the listing photos of the room and access to the music hall. If this is a 5 star hotel, it did not meet the requirements as listed on the web site. But, the staff was great and the breakfast delicious."

"Really loved the place. Modern, clean, great bathroom, great WiFi. All for a great price. You just need to be aware that if on foot, nearest metro is 25 min walk- then direct to the centre. But well worth a stay. I will return!"

"My husband and I stayed here for one night before heading out to Cadiz. The hotel was very clean. The staff was friendly, polite and very helpful with helping us find a few places to visit in Madrid. The staff spoke English which was great for me. The breakfast was superb. The variety of food was amazing. Something for everyone there to eat. The restaurant was very clean too. Excellent place to stay and it is right next to the train station! We would absolutely stay here again."

"The location is great, just about ten mins walk to the Plaza Mayor and Sol station shopping area and easily accessible to other major attractions like the Retiro park, Gran Via street and Royal palace by foot or subway. There are a hundred cafes and restaurants around to choose from. It was clean and the toilets and showers in the shared bathrooms feel private (the dividers go almost all the way down to the floor) and the ac in the private bunk bed room we stayed in worked fine. Only complaint is you hear ppl talking in the hallway and the doors slamming at night and at 7am.."

"The staff at the front desk were amazingly friendly. The rooms had extremely comfortable beds, a lot of space and great bathroom. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again. The only small issue I had was breakfast finished at 10.30 and before I had finished my coffee there was someone vacuuming at the side of me by 10.40. Otherwise great."
