When my car's battery died on a Sunday 6:00 am when the entire town was asleep, and no help was available, they did everything they could to help me. They jump started my car and I was eventually able to continue on my way. These are the nicest people you can imagine. "Absolutely shocking. Arrived at 7.20pm. Check in was between 5-8pm. No sign of anyone. Phoned both phone numbers and messaged via hotel.com - no answer from property. Waited there for an hour. We were extremely tired after leaving the UK at 7am!!! Had to find another hotel at ann extra cost. Eventually arrived around 9pm. Hotel owner phoned me at 10.38pm, waking us up, to ask where we were and apologise! What a joke. A formal complaint has been made to hotel.con who were extremely helpful...

"The staff was unbelievably helpful, polite, just top notch. If I could remember each of there names I would publicly thank each one them for helping make my stay be the best it could possibly be. As for the food, I'm not a world traveler or anything but absolutely delicious. Some of the best dishes I've ever had. The property could use a little tlc but I love that it's in the country, made me feel at home. I would definitely stay here again in the future."

"The male host who picked us up from the airport and checked us in was very friendly and helpful. As there are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room, he lent us some mugs, plates, cutlery etc. ( we had a travel kettle and coffee) He told us about the little shop next door , which was tiny and barely sold anything, so we found an Aldi 10 mins walk away. The room was comfortable but needs updating. It’s a 10 min drive from the airport but that was fine with the shuttle bus. We only needed it for an overnight stop for the airport so we were fine with the location but be aware that there is nothing around. Unfortunately, during the night, lights in our room would randomly turn on! This happened 5 times and was not always the same light. We would’ve informed the staff the following morning but the lady spoke French and was in a bit of a rush. Quite expensive stay for what and where it was but they have a captive audience"

"The Staff was a mixed bag ranging from ok to incredible. A lady at the desk who wears glasses and name started with an H along with the two ladies who were the cleaning crew were superb! They seem to switch out their entire staff every couple days. This is not necessarily bad, in fact service was still good! It’s just no one ever matched H’s service and enthusiasm on day 1 and 2! We did note on weds or thurs there may have been a change in chef. The scrambled eggs were the consistency of egg drop soup that day. The rooms were fun and eclectic, and everything seemed very clean! Bed was comfortable. We would definitely stay again !"
