"Always a good value for the money. Family-run business with high priority placed on guests' needs. Staff is great. Much nicer folks than at other "budget" options in the area.
Rooms are clean.
Beds are comfy.
Heating & AC work well, as do the appliances. We will stay again when in that area. Great alternative to impersonal chain motels & hotels."

"This is convenient to I 81 and close enough to small restaurants and store to make easy access and the location itself seems like a secluded fairy cottage. Very nice indeed for a good nights rest."

"The Positives - This hotel is very near several restaurants, so you don't have to drive anywhere to pick up lunch or dinner. You don't even have to cross a street. There's a Mexican restaurant, a pizza restaurant, a place for wings. I particularly liked the Chinese restaurant.
The room was clean when I entered. Bed is high off the ground, which I like. Microwave worked well. Refrigerator was a tad loud, but I've experienced louder.
The Negatives - Walls are thin. You can hear conversations easily from the room next door, which means that they can hear yours as well. During the nights I stayed there, my neighbor played music the entire night. At 2:00 AM I called the front desk about it, and they handled the problem right away. So kudos to the staff. But the fact remains that the walls are thinner than they should be.
The bathroom was clean, but the shower dispensers were problematic. The body wash dispenser was practically falling off the wall. The conditioner dispenser was either empty or not working. When I asked the front desk to add more conditioner, the result was that I was given two more bars of soap. Clearly, there was a communication breakdown somewhere.
The breakfast is continental but minimal. I wasn't expecting fresh eggs and bacon, but it was still lacking. No artificail sweeteners made available. When I picked up an orange from the bowl, it was completely rotted on one side.
Not horrible, but I would have trouble reccommending."
"The room, the people, and hotel itself was amazing. We had a great stay. My only problem is that I was billed more at check in than what I was quoted when I booked online by over $100 for the weekend stay."
"Well I’ll start off with there is plenty of drinking water because the tap water is sulphur water. The house was not clean, the shower curtain was full of black moldy water (we cleaned it), the rear door to the deck and water was covered in bugs and cobwebs on the inside of the screens and doors (we cleaned it) there was a pair of someone’s socks in the one sofa (left them) there was a half full water bottle under one bed upstairs (left it) and for some reason two tread mills piled on top of each other in the great room. And lastly the cookware was dirty. A few knives and silverware we had to clean the food of off before using them. We also cleaned every dish and utensil we used before using it. The host needs a new cleaning person. There was no cleaning beside maybe a quick what you can see wipe down. Otherwise, it was great, only complaints is the sulphur water (tell people up front) and the cleanliness. The bushes hang over coming into the driveway, my truck is getting the scratches buffed out next week. Oh and there are a lot of kids running around on foot, bikes, golf carts, etc through the yards, I believe they are full time residents. It met our needs for a place to stay while attending Memorial Day ceremonies."
"Hotel was pretty clean but very outdated. Cold water in bathroom sink would not even turn on. Breakfast choices were lacking. Hotel staff was great. Overall we would not stay here again."
