"Freshly cooked food to order, lovely staff, very clean and lovely room.
Only downside to our room was creaky floors which I presume are to do with the age of the building "

"Very friendly and helpful staff. Great place for short stays. Nice breakfast. 12 -15 minutes walk from centre. Rooms are basic and small but adequate. "

"Started with a booking issue via Expedia (small double rather than a king-sized bed booked) but resolved directly with the Hosts. Great location, opposite the park and lovely, solid furniture in the room. Parking permits available in the property for a small fee worked well. Just the shower could do with an update. If we visit again, I'd book a room with a bath."

Crown Spa Hotel Scarborough by Compass Hospitality
8/10 Good
"We had a lovely room on the 3rd floor but it was very hot as a result of the recent high temperatures. This made sleep difficult until the early hours of the morning when the weather cooled. All the staff we encountered were great - very helpful, pleasant and cheerful. Breakfast was standard but absolutely no complaints. It is a very old property but some way of keeping the upper rooms cooler in high summer temperatures would be a major improvement.. perhaps by increasing the roof insulation"
"Friendly staff the room wasnt as clean as exspected the beds & towels & toilet were spotless just the scurting boards were very dusty water in shower wasnt going down the drain was blocked just needed the last touches to make it perfect"
"Absolutely amazing - we loved it! Wonderful staff. Lovely room (Las Vegas) - especially the jacuzzi bath! Room facilities were excellent with everything we could possibly need, including fridge and ice bucket. Breakfast area was lovely and the breakfast itself was one of the best continental breakfasts we have had. Lovely relaxed atmosphere throughout the hotel and nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were lovely. We are definitely planning to stay again."
"We only had a short stay there but the hotel and rooms are spotless, staff friendly and helpful, excellent food and well stocked bar. Ample parking. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would love to go back again. Thanks guys and gals 👍"
"We had dinner and breakfast both very good. Staff were very helpful and the lobby is amazing. Only drawback the rooms are a little tired but would definitely go back"
