"We did not stay for our full stay as was very disappointed with this hotel. The pictures on the website do not match what the hotel is like. Wallpaper hanging off the wall, skylight that doesn't close properly, handrail falling off the wall, and no towels in my room. The lady did help us with our cases upon checking in which was nice as there was alot of stairs, the ones winding up to the attic were very steep, which when the handrail is loose is dangerous. "Gavin and Christopher have put a lot of thought into giving you an enjoyable stay at the Manorhaus Ruthin. The rooms are decorated reflecting welsh designs. The dining room has beautiful sculptures. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious with a lot of choice. The coffee was excellent. Overall we had a great week end stay. The Manorhaus is only minutes walking into the centre where there are several excellent eateries/restaurants"

"My daughter and I stayed in the Orme lodge, it was lovely. Nice and warm, squirrels outside the windows. Hot tub is just a hot tub - not one with bubbles! so don't look for a button to press lol Very peaceful. If you go with kids (i went with teenager) then maybe take a laptop to watch netflix etc on. wifi connection great. Don't wear sliders on your feet when trying to do the fire or else you will slip on the mud which is hilarious to a teenager btw. Hot tub takes about 4 hours to...
