"It was just as expected but fair warning: no ride shares in the area so if you’re looking to get sauced at a restaurant nearby pack some walking shoes. Also the tap water runs less than clear, leaving dark specks of grit in the sink. Kinda nasty. Rinse after brushing with a bottle of water or something. Shower seemed ok though. Good parking situation."

"Very cozy and beautiful home. Perfect for a quick getaway very quiet area views by the lake is amazing. Everything you can ask for from the lake to the pool to the jacuzzi. The house is kept very clean all the amenities you can ask for the s’more station supplied is a great way to welcome their guests as well as the recommendations. Best part of the trip was putting on a fire inside to walking outside on the deck to seeing a family of deer just in the backyard laying around."

"The house was clean, but we had to wait 20 minutes to get into the house because the cleaning person hadn't completed the work on time. Kitchen is nice a fully stocked with the essentials. The house is nice inside. The beds however, were not comfortable, especially the one in the back bedroom where it had no support at all. On the outside, the property has plenty of space for its fire pit area and a small dock by the water. There is also a canoe we used to explore the lake. Life jackets are provided and are in the house. The deck has nice views, but could use a refresh as the paint is chipped from weathing and there are nail heads sticking up. The host was helpful throughout the process. However, on our final morning, power went out due to a storm, which rendered the home useless as everything in the house is powered by electricity, including the plumbing. That meant we couldn't shower, toilets didn't work, and had no way to cook breakfast. I contacted the host who offered no compensation for our inconvience. Considering the neighbor I spoke to said power loss does occur, you might want to seek a place that has a backup generator."

"I traveled to Vernon for a wedding and opted to pay a little extra money for Mountain Creek rather than staying at the cheaper option that was given through the wedding accommodations. I was really looking forward to a nice sleep, sipping coffee and relaxing the morning after the day. Upon getting to Mountain Creek, the code that was texted to me for entrance to my room was wrong. When I went to the shop (there is no check in desk), I was rudely told that I could have just texted the number back rather than coming down (nowhere in the text did it say to text back for questions). It was very apparent that the staff did not want to interact during check in. They gave me my correct code and five minutes after getting into the room, a maintenance man walked into the room unannounced. In the morning, I woke up and attempted to make coffee. After 3 attempts, it was apparent that the coffee maker was broken. I turned on the TV to sit on the couch and relax and the screen stated antenna error. I texted the number for guest services and the response was "I will tell IT about the TV". There was no apologies or offer of coffee to make up for the broken coffee maker. I am very disappointed in my stay. In reading the print, they charge additional fees for early check in, late check out, and if there's even a hint of pets on the premises, you will be fined. This business seems very money-hungry without provided anything substantial to warrant the higher cost of a resort accommodation. "
