"I never post reviews on places I stay, but this deserves some attention. It was my error to book with Expedia instead of booking with the inn directly. I also did not realize that I could make specific requests for my stay. So for that I take responsibility. What I don't take responsibility for is the check-in. I felt as if I the guest wasn't truly important enough to engage with. Not a friendly smile or hello.. It was name and here are your keys.. The back patio was a mess from the trees which found themselves in every corner and crevice. Understandable, but please don't tell me it had been cleaned 4 times that day or any other day. Never really recovered throughout the stay. Breakfast was lack luster.. and the in room coffee milk was spoiled. If you are an early riser like me, 8 am really does not work. I learned my lesson the first morning when the back door was lock. I asked if I could set up in cafe room with a laptop and was denied. and then the door locked behind me.. really!! It's off season and that is what makes Nantucket great. The location to downtown is good. The parking is hit or miss. Probably not going to book the fall with this inn. There are many other good places to stay."

"The apartment was beautifully decorated, clean and centrally located. There was an unavoidable problem with the heating system, which the owners immediately addressed and kept me informed on their progress. They graciously adjusted the price without my having to ask! I will stay there again in the future!"
