"The shaker museum is a great stay. It is SO reasonably priced for how nice the rooms are. The linens are all clean, and the mattress was extremely comfortable. It’s very quiet and peaceful. The grounds are beautiful and everyone is helpful and kind. It’s the perfect place to stay if you want an affordable, safe, comfortable, and clean place to stay. It’s also great obviously for a history buff as there is so much to learn about the Shakers. We will definitely be returning next year. The staff is...

"The room was very clean and the free breakfast was quite good. However our toilet would not flush and our TV did not work. We ended up using the restroom in the lobby! At a Hampton inn I do not expect luxury, but I do expect working toilets and TVs. It was a very busy weekend and we paid a very high rate for this room because of that and we are disappointed with the condition our room was in."

"Bath shower very good as well as quality of the towels. Comfortable bed and pillows. Air conditioner very loud and initial difficult to get a consistent comfortable temp in room. No elevator which makes for not the best schlepping suitcase up the stairs for older customers. Room feels more spartan than perhaps it should because it is overly large. Much larger than it needs to be to feel more comfortable. Desk space is adequate and the closet is larger and more enclosed than in most hotels"
