"Our stay at Sandy Nangshi was unforgettable. The view is truly once-in-a-lifetime — absolutely breathtaking. We stayed in Room 17, which was amazing. The private plunge pool and jacuzzi made it feel like our own secluded retreat. The entire property has a peaceful, romantic atmosphere — perfect for a honeymoon. The food was top-notch, and our waiter Vee stood out for being professional, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The mangoes here are the best I’ve ever had in my life, and I’ve traveled all over the world. The mango smoothies alone are an experience. The café program is also next level — the matcha lattes, iced matcha, and Thai tea were all outstanding. Waking up early is a must — the sunrise is probably the best I’ve ever seen. A major highlight is the complimentary boat trip. Unlike the crowded tourist ferries to places like James Bond or Phi Phi, this felt exclusive with just a few hotel guests — truly VIP. The pool area is nice but small, with about six lounge chairs, so it can be hard to grab one. Staff isn’t always in sight, and the water runs warm due to the climate. Overall, this is a perfect place to relax and disconnect. We came for our honeymoon and couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend."

"You come here for one reason and it’s for sunrise behind the islands while on the skywalk. Amazing views, nice facilities. Not much to do in the surrounding area so a short stay is fine."

"Me and my friend had an incredible stay at Mhontong. We were welcomed in and felt like part of the family. The location is in a quiet rural fishing town, the locals are all very kind and gave us lots of smiles as we explored the area. Our host went above and beyond to make our stay there the best it could be. We were given lots of reccomendations of what to do in the area and had a private boat tour arranged, taking us to all the less touristy places ! We were accompanied by one of the hosts who helped translate with the boat driver and looked after us on the trip. The view from the property itself is beautiful and right in the national park. "The room was big but the air conditioning did not work properly I had no hot water and they started drilling in the room next door at 7.30 am also the room upstairs had a part till the early hours . So not the best stay"

"Good value for the money. Location is nice, quiet and quite scenic, right next to a large karst rock formation. It is somewhat remote and requires a car to get around, since the path to town is a kilometer or so of highway and not really safe for walking. Staff was very helpful. The lodge house was clean and cozy, but the mattress was hard and the bathroom was in the old asian style, where the whole room is the shower and both sink and shower run into the same drain in the floor with no separation, so the whole bathroom floor gets wet."
