"I wish I had read the reviews before booking this hotel because, unfortunately, many of the negative reviews reflected my experience. As soon as I walked into the room, it felt very hot and muggy and had a strong odor that reminded me of an old, poorly maintained building. The room appeared unclean, and it looked as though the floors had not been properly swept or mopped. The walls and interior showed significant wear and gave the impression that upkeep had been neglected. The biggest concern was the bathroom. Upon entering, I immediately saw a cockroach and what appeared to be rodent droppings. At that point, I decided I was not comfortable staying there. I returned to the front desk and informed the employee that I wanted to cancel my reservation due to the conditions of the room. I was told that refunds were not available and was offered a different room instead, but I chose not to stay. Based on my experience, I would not consider this a family-friendly hotel, especially for those traveling with young children. Cleanliness and sanitation are extremely important to me, and I did not feel comfortable spending the night there. I understand that budget hotels may not offer luxury accommodations, but guests should still expect a clean, sanitary, and well-maintained room. Unfortunately, this property did not meet those expectations."

"It was ok. Convenient because it was right by the highway. Pool was closed for maintenance at this time. I personally don’t like hotel rooms with vinyl floors. The floor is always so dirty and that was the case here too. Kitchen is available but there is no dishes or silverware or pots so totally useless."

"We had a great time from kayaking to swimming, fishing, playing pool, pickleball and having s’mores! Wonderful place for our mom’s 95th birthday celebration as she could sit on the deck or inside watching and visiting with everyone."

"The room has roaches, I smelled Marijuana as soon as I walked to the back door to go to my room. The TV remote didn't work, staff brought me another but had to keep pressing it hard to change the channels. Last night was the only night the street actually got hot. I will never stay there again."
