Our hostess was absolutely hands down the sweetest woman! We loved chatting with her. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and quiet. It was the best part of our European vacation.

Great place, hope to be back

Great location, very walkable to nearby sites and restaurants. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Having a small kitchen and refrigerator were great amenities as well. Communication with staff was good as well. I enjoyed my stay very much.

We loved the locating, breakfast was good.

Incredible, spacious, and modern hotel. Great for adults and kids. We’ll be back!

Clean and well maintained property

Great location. Self check in was tricky till I figured out the hotel across the street was a sister hotel and could handle everything

Best hotel I stayed at in Switzerland by a landslide. Conveniently located close to town, amazing amenities and service from staff. Everybody was kind and helpful. Meals at the restaurant were DELICIOUS. A/C worked but rooms won’t cool below 72 degrees. Highly recommend. Pool, sauna, jacuzzi was wonderful. The gym was a proper gym, not a typical hotel gym. Gorgeous views of the lake from the restaurant.

Everything was at the top level of excellence

Excellent luggage storage. Super close to the railway station. But extraordinarily quiet.

Excellent location, five minute walk to the city center and main railway station.

The location is GREAT on the main road in Appenzell. The staff is super friendly and helpful in suggestion things to do. The breakfast was very good as well. The only to be aware of (which wasn't a negative for us) is the Church right across the street rings its bells until pretty late and again at 6:30 am. They are awesome bells, but very loud. I arrived without a Swiss outlet compatible adapter. I enquired if they might know as to where I could purchase one, and the clerk supplied me with one until I could buy one the next morning. I also asked about suggestions for meals, sight-seeing, and general information, and was kindly helped during my stay. Being located just across from the Bahnhof and so close to the Cathedral, makes this hotel a perfect choice when staying in Skt. Gallen. Wonderful breakfast buffet options!

The terrace suite was spacious with awesome panoramic views. I appreciated the local travel pass to get around once we had time to explore after the Swiss Open. It was a superb spot for ease of access to the venue and food and sightseeing. The breakfast gave the opportunity try some local appetites.

I stay here because it is close to where I work, not for its convenience to downtown, restaurants, etc. As far as business hotels go, this one is hard to beat. Super clean, super efficient, excellent and friendly staff, good food (the dinners are exceptionally good) and reasonably priced.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Being from the USA the breakfast included items that we are used to having.
