"It was a pleasant surprise to find on arrival that not only was breakfast for two included but also were two free drinks in the hotel. We particularly liked their lovely black cat who met us in the morning and deigned to allow us a pat. Great accom and location away from the CBD. Only downside was noisy traffic from passing trucks."

"I'm not sure why so highly rated to be honest. It was all very average including check in. I messaged property few days earlier for questions, but they hadn't responded either so couldn't plan ahead. No opportunity to do early check-in, or use wifi if you arrive early. Don't come earlier than 2pm or you won't be able to check in. It meets basic expectation clean bed+ shower. Tea provided but has no milk. Family room has no hot chocolate powder and kids would have appreciated it. Just a...

"Room was a great size. We had the buffet breakfast. Not amazing but well-priced to match to accept it was good value for what you could get. Had dinner at the restaurant. Most of the food is pretty decent. Was not a fan of the duck spring rolls."

"Waste of money. No list of amenities available. Reception always closed. You have to ring to get anything, including checking in. Thai restaurant no longer exists. It is 30 minute walk from cbd. Room was cold even with air con on. Lounge was hard and uncomfortable to sit on for more than a couple of minutes. Bathroom is tiny. No door on shower so water goes everywhere. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!"
