"Our stay at the villa in Villecroze went perfectly. Communication with Carmelita went very well, the house is very pleasant and well equipped, although a little old, it could do with some renovations but that didn't stop us from having a very pleasant stay. The pool and garden are superb, perfect for relaxing, you are very peaceful but you have everything you need just a 10-minute drive away. The region is beautiful and there are plenty of things to do and see."

"This property was perfect for our holiday. It provided peace and quiet and was only approx 1-2 hour drive to main attraction locations, ie St Tropez, Toulon etc. The house has everything you will need; pool, cooking facilities, barbecue etc. The layout of the house is unique; one of the bedrooms is downstairs and is accessed either from outside the property or via the veranda (which can be locked), but it worked well for us."

"We were a group of 3 families who have been holidaying together for years. We found the house to be comfortably furnished throughout and the intended addition of airconditioning will be a great bonus. The smaller sofa bed room especially would benefit from this and the rooms closest to the road as there is quite a bit of traffic noise with the windows open. Bit of a hairy road to walk to town!Kitchen is great and very helpful to have two dishwashers and the kettle, toaster and cereal zone separate from the main kitchen for the kids and to slow traffic in the main kitchen. I think that given many families will want to cook when there it would benefit from some big casserole dishes, a proper roasting tin, box grater, salad spinner and some more teaspoons etc. The dining room was great on the day is was too windy to eat outside. We were a tad fearful of all the warnings about the white sofas and the potential fines so suggest some covers for these if you are using them for a rental property as we spent the week with sheets across all furniture in the sitting areas. Loved pool and outside space. Lots of room for everyone to relax, play petanque and find quiet spaces to read. Replaced battery in smoke alarm in hall at bottom of main stairs. Picture in room 3 we left off the wall as it fell off the wall onto a child's hand causing some nasty bruising. We feel it needs to be attached more securely so can't slip off the hook in future. "We stayed for 10 nights with our Labrador.Fully secure property with parking on site. The accommodation was lovely far better and bigger than we expected. Everything needed was there.The host lives within the grounds and is available if needed but not intrusive in any way. She has a very friendly dog Millie. The property is in a quiet location within walking distance to a village/town which has everything you could need. Supermarket within walking distance. The pool, we where in every day. A much needed cool off. Bliss... Our dog was made to feel welcome, given the freedom of the property. Ideally positioned for visiting the areas within the Var/ Haute Provence district. Would definitely stay again."

"Recently stayed at the Bastide of Villecroze and had the most wonderful, relaxing time. Phillipe’s place is so beautiful - photos do not do it justice. Phillipe was welcoming, great with communication and very helpful. The villa was very well kept, the gardens were stunning and the town of Villecroze just a short walk away is gorgeous. We would love to come back again one day "
