"This auberge is a little gem. A warm and friendly inn keeper, a friendly cat, a beautiful quiet lakeside location, a clean cheery well appointed room. The property is more motel than hotel since the rooms are down the hill from the main house and have outdoor entrances however he living room and the porch are open for use by the guests. The rooms are well equipped with coffee pots, a toaster, a microwave, and a little cabinet with dishes, glasses, and silverware. Be advised that unlike some of the older reviews there is no restaurant on the premises and they do not serve breakfast. This was a lovely little surprise after a long day of travel! "

"This place was so cozy and warming! Everything you need is there and if you forgot something, there is a nice store within 10min drive. The property is big, you feel on vacation the minute you step in. The owner if very easy to acces and super helpful. From Wifi to clean towels to chairs, paddles, wood.. Everything is perfect! "

"My wife and I stayed for two weeks. Great view and back deck/very modern/well stocked/very private/nice place. Couple points need to mention. The house is not three bedrooms. There are two beds upstairs in the loft but it’s not a bedroom. The living room is small. There is no couch it has three chairs. The tv downstairs did not work and the management company did not understand why. There is no ac but the downstairs was always cool. It would have been beneficial to have a welcome book detailing local suggestions. However I was provided information when I inquired. There is a security camera at the front driveway that I never saw in the listing. If you bring a boat make sure you understand where you can launch. There is no garage or shed to store anything such as bikes or gear. All in all it was a great place for the two of us. Most good hiking and biking trails were 40-60 minute drive. Finally,after checking out I received an email asking for a five star review and they would also give a five star review. I thought that was strange but who am I to judge. "
