"To say that cactus was big is an understatement. It’s so big it probably charges the owners rent! Very clean and VERY quiet. We saw a lot of stars we normally don’t see. Huge deck allowing morning and evening sun. Nice and relaxing for coffee and wine. We literally did not see another person up there except on the road. It is a birder paradise and the ground squirrels frolicking was a kick. We will be back when visiting grandkids."

"The owner answered and responded quickly to the issues we had, I’ll say that first. However, I did not see no AC my bad! I would suggest earplugs for the fan in the bedroom. We left the windows open and blinds drawn so you get a breeze. There is no outside patio or chairs, the yard is unpleasant to look at. "We stayed at the Hampton Inn Temecula and overall had a good experience. The location is fantastic with easy access, open parking, and you can walk in easily from the street. Check-in was very smooth and the staff were consistently helpful, friendly, and available whenever we needed something, day or night. The dining room is spacious and breakfast was lovely. Our room was nice and cold when we arrived, towels were fully stocked, and the elevators were prompt and spacious. That said, there were some areas that need attention. The pool was completely green and unusable, and the jacuzzi didn’t look much better even though it was still running at night. There was some debris in the front and the market or snack area was not well stocked. The room carried a lot of noise, especially with adjoining rooms, so you could hear neighbors if they were arguing or being loud, although thankfully street noise wasn’t an issue. Toiletries were also lacking, shower gel was watery and the soap/shampoo setup wasn’t great. I would consider staying again for the location, staff, and breakfast, but the pool maintenance, toiletries, and room soundproofing really need improvement."
