"The staff is amazing, the room was wonderful, the food is very good.
If you want to rest and be far from the touristy areas, go to Hoshi Jungle Resort, you won't regret it. "

"It's a very atmospheric place, and I don't regret staying there overnight. I can recommend it, but understand that this is a house in the countryside and there might be small insects in the room. The grounds are excellent, green and beautiful, with two parking lots, but they're small. The restaurant is tasty and fast. The specialty is the average portions. Breakfast is okay. The rooms are nice, plenty of space, and the toilets are decent. There were a few complaints about the bathroom. Cons:...

"Room was very clean and modern. Staff was very friendly. It was a beautiful villa and very peaceful. Wish I couldve stayed longer. Only issue was the road that leads to it is very bad and my drivers had a hard time reaching it. "

"We enjoyed our stay here very much! It is TOTALLY worth staying here for a day or two. You get first access to saying good morning to the elephants before all the day-trippers arrive, and it's lovely to walk around the park in the evening. We came in Jan/26, so the park was very quiet guest wise. Breakfast and dinners were great (not included for us) and reasonably priced. As for the treatment of the ellies - they are well taken care of and have a much better life than before their arrival to Mason. Please watch the informative video, and talk to the mahouts. They are knowledgable and happy to answer questions! AS OF JAN 25 there are no more elephant rides - which was fine by us!! Just happy to be around such big beautiful gentle creatures. "
"Excellent hospitality. Lovely staff who are very helpful and courteous. Beautiful establishment and spaces. They actually cleaned when you called for house keeping, not just tidied up. The food and drinks were very tasty as well. Great amenities. Loved and very much enjoyed my stay here. "
"This hotel was incredible!! We had our private pool terrace in our suite. Staff was so helpful and friendly. The out door infinity is gorgeous and it’s about 20 min from Ubud town. Comfortable bed, great WiFi, hot water and AC. Loved it! "
"5 stars! Beautiful hotel with first class service. They had a kids center for kids and an onsite petting area with various animals. Their breakfast and dinner buffets were also amazing and the room views are spectacular! "
"Well appointed, clean and well facilitated Hotel on the beach at Ahmed. Upgraded on arrival. Hotel restaurant very good and well priced. Great pool and nice garden surrounds. Many local cuisine restaurants nearby. Many activities available."
"Family Villa. Had to wait until 2.40pm to be able to go in as they only cleaned when we arrived a but before 2pm. There is building work next to it. Noisy grinding stop after 1st day but the workers still working and there was no privacy as they were right next to the pool area. On our last night I was awaken by loud conversation 2 male voices at 4.30am!
6 nights stay. Meant to be daily cleaning. We got random 2nd and 4th day cleaning only.
Breakfast was okay. Food choices nearby for delivery is very limited. Villa itself is 2 separate rooms with ensuite and a common pool area. The outdoor was unusable due to the flies. It was disgusting, never seen flies like that anywhere else. Inside rats running amock on the ceiling at night and rat droppings to be found every morning. So gross. Staff brought me bug spray for flies but it was hard to keep them away. Internet dropped a few times and one night wasn't working at all from around 5pm. Minus the flies and rats, this villa would suit a family with teenage kids and who got their own transport to get around. The staff responded quick on whatsapp. No drinking water. Was offered 2bottles upon request on 1st day and that's it. The driveway is very narrow and drivers don't like coming in, making it a long walk out onto the road. Hot wster only enough for 1person to shower then wait about 1.5hrs to reheat to have some more. Staff respond quick and try to help but are limited. "
