Airport View Hotel
8/10 Good
"Did not take breakfast. Easy acess to shuttle to the airport."

Labadi Beach Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"I was a solo traveler but here for a group event, Labadi was an amazing hotel! The staff was very attentive and friendly from the moment I arrived. I had a lovely suite which was very clean and well appointed and had a ton of room! Even those in my group with standard rooms said they were very spacious as well. I particularly liked the large bathroom and having plenty closet space. The bed was also very comfortable, I was always sad to have to leave it in the morning! I used the fitness center a few times which has a nice selection of equipment and was clean. The pool area did run short on towels on the weekend but was overall lovely! All the meals I had were delicious and reasonably priced. The included breakfast was also great, plenty of options both self serve buffet and made to order. When I return to Accra I will definitely stay at Labadi again!"

La Villa Boutique Hotel
6/10 Okay
"Unbearably loud Noise at 6.00am as staff memes were cutting trees directly outside our room. Other than that lovely place to stay but the noise was very inconvenient."

Accra Luxury Apartments at The Gardens
10/10 Excellent
"After several disappointments, some of which we just couldn't stay at, Luxury Apartments at the Gardens proved to be a very welcome breath of fresh air! The room was exactly as in the photo (even better) clean, freshened, and the AC was functioning perfectly amid the Accra heat! We loved this place instantly, from the very clean reception to the security to the easy access to the airport and malls! I don't want to sound like they paid me, but this place is d*mn good!"

La Palm Royal Beach Hotel
6/10 Okay
"My experience at the hotel was mixed. Upon arrival, the receptionist’s lukewarm attitude and lack of enthusiasm did not create a welcoming first impression. The interaction felt unnecessarily uncomfortable and somewhat unprofessional. After informing her that I was checking in, she asked what time I had booked the hotel. I found the question unnecessary, especially since the reservation details were already available in the system. I had to search through my phone to retrieve the information, and when I finally did, her response came across with an attitude, as though I had done something wrong simply by arriving to check into a room that had already been reserved for the night. The overall process lacked warmth, urgency, and the hospitality one expects when arriving at a hotel.
That said, my checkout experience was much better. The receptionist during checkout was professional, welcoming, and had a beautiful smile that made the interaction refreshing and pleasant. The breakfast was also very good and enjoyable.
As for the property itself, the hotel feels noticeably dated. I was honestly surprised to see how much La Palm has aged over the years. It still carries the foundation of what was once a landmark hotel, but it would greatly benefit from serious renovations and modernization to restore the high standard and prestige it was known for when it first opened."

Number One Oxford Street Hotel & Suites

"The building is always having issues with plumbing !"

Urbano Hotel
6/10 Okay
"My stay at Urbano Hotel left me with mixed feelings, but unfortunately one experience during checkout overshadowed what could have been a pleasant stay.
At checkout, the receptionist had to call someone to physically go and inspect my room before I could complete the process. In my opinion, if such procedures are necessary, they should be handled more discreetly so guests do not feel uncomfortable or distrusted.
What frustrated me most was the issue surrounding the water bottles. When I checked in, I was informed that water was complimentary. However, during checkout, the receptionist informed me, almost excitedly, that I had consumed two bottles of water and therefore owed 24 cedis. I was honestly shocked because I genuinely believed the bottled water provided in the room was complimentary, based on what I had been told earlier.
I was then informed that only the warm bottles of water placed on the desk were complimentary, while the cold ones inside the refrigerator were not. Honestly, that made very little sense to me. In Ghana’s heat, most guests will naturally reach for the cold water in the fridge rather than warm water sitting on a desk.
The bigger issue was the complete lack of communication and transparency. There was no visible price list, no minibar notice, and no explanation during check-in that the refrigerated water carried a separate charge of 12 cedis per small bottle. Without that information, the situation felt misleading and unnecessarily unpleasant.
