"Secluded location, completely private beach with only resort guests, perfect for a long weekend.
The towels are not so clean, with dead bugs on them and marks on them. Better to bring your own bath towels.
Super hardworking staffs especially those who serve at the restaurant, they work from 7am till 10pm. Big respect! Reception staffs are friendly and helpful too.
The only issue is the aircon in the room, it switches off automatically almost every hour, hard to maintain a cool enough room...

"Mutiara is not a typical beach resort—it’s a true eco-resort designed with tradition and sustainability in mind. It’s also actively run by the long-time owner—no corporate chains here.
The most important things to be prepared for: no AC and no hot water. You sleep in lovely teak and rattan cottages with mosquito nets and plenty of fans.
