"Very friendly staff, rooms not very practical, amazing breakfast "

"We stayed 3 nights. We liked that it was directly in front of beach. Nice free breakfast. Salt water pool was so nice. The staff were great. They always checked in to ensure guests were happy and had what they needed. My bad for not thinking that it is in the jungle. We saw a snake at the pool (little and not a threat), resident howler monkeys woke us at 5 am every morning (again part of nature) and sloths!! Dining options around hotel are limited however you can take a tuktuk into puerto Viejo for more dining options. "

"This was one of the most beautiful places I have stayed at. Grounds were well maintained and very lush. Staff was very helpful and always willing to go out of their way to make sure you had what you needed. Amazing place and we cannot wait to return. We happened to be there at the same time one of the owners was also there....
