The Queens at Horton

"Plenty of parking which seems to be safe over night. The room was clean and comfortable with a small fridge containing fresh milk to go with the tea and coffee making machine. I found the shower in the bath a little difficult to use with the danger of slipping and difficulty in getting out of the bath when wet. The bar and hotel were closed by 10 pm which meant the nights were quiet. The breakfast choice was extensive with only the cereal self service. The evening meal was good. I thought it was good value and have stayed many times over the years. My visit was for two nights in early September; I’m 76 years of age."

"This was our first stay at Marriott Keele. Finding the hotel was not obvious and TomTom didn't take us to the door, so signage could be improved. However, the check in process was excellent and the room was very good. The only thing that was missing was complimentary bottles of water and a good selection of tea/coffee, biscuits. There was plenty of room in the carpark and a Starbucks on the ground floor; I suspect this may be the reason for the limited supply of coffee in the room? The breakfast was very good and overall, it's difficult to fault this hotel for the price paid. I would happily return and stay with Marriott Keele in future."

"Comfortable bed. Room very quiet Great black out curtains Little balcony was nice but had not been cleaned of previous occupant’s cigarette butts! Remote location was lovely"

"I liked that the property is close to other services. Was clean,just the exception of a stale smell in the bathroom but I suppose that is what you get when there are no windows to open in bathrooms. It is an old premier inn."
