Schlicker Seespitze, Kalkkoegel, Stubai Alps, Austria

Schlicker Seespitze is with its 2.804 meters altitude the highest peak of limestone range called Kalkkoegel. It consists of the true Dolomite and hence also called the North Tyrolean Dolomites resembling the more famous mountains in the South Tyrol land in Italy. You can reach the wonderful panorama trail using the Schlick 2000 lift from the village of Fulpmes just in the entrance of the Stubaital valley. It is the first major valley on the right when riding from Innsbruck to Italy via the Brenner saddle.
