"While the hotel was mostly clean and well maintained, a few things did fall by the wayside... Almost none of the ice machines were working. The bar area, which opened up after 4pm was usually under staffed and not responsive... The front desk staff was somewhat helpful but not always. Overall though, it was a nice hotel in a convenient location for a fair price."

"We’re told truck didn’t come in so very limited to no breakfast for first two days. Had to eat elsewhere"

"The room was so comfortable and we loved the kitchen. The breakfast was good--nice crispy bacon!"

"Clean rooms helpful and friendly staff."

"This hotel satisfied our needs for a night. The hotel is showing its age, especially the carpeting in the hallway, but the rooms were clean and beds comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful. There was an included breakfast which had quite a few choices."

"We truly appreciated everyone who works at Tru by Marriott in Fort Mill! Laura was a rockstar and helped us get checked in and settled. She was also so kind and friendly and talked with us like we were long lost friends. The hotel was great! Good breakfast options each day and fun game room to entertain our family while we waited for others. Very much appreciate everyone and everything!"

"Very convenient nice and clean hotel."

"The staff was so helpful. Gave me a welcome gift. Fixed some fresh coffee. The lemon water was so refreshing. My room was so neat and clean. Very ample parking and well lit around the premises. The breakfast was delicious. Had a good selection of breakfast items. Very quiet and no disruptions in the night. Thank you for making this traveler feel so welcome."

"The room was very spacious for sleeping up to 6, a great desk area and we loved the separate toilet and shower. Overall very convenient if you’re planning a trip to carowinds PLUS don’t forget to ask about a parking pass so you don’t have to pay for a parking spot at carowinds. Very clean and the staff was professional and helpful! Only thing I wasn’t impressed with was breakfast, while there were a good amount of options a lot of the hot food was overcooked or too sweet, I wish there were more...

"I had my dog with me and the staff were very accommodating"

"Property was noisy. Pizza box left in top of cabinet full of dust. Early check in was great and staff was great."

"Great staff! Great breakfast. Very clean and nice. They also have a score of 100!!"
