"A grand hotel in the countryside, it's a shame the state it's in now.
The carpet is worn out in place's, the game's room is a complete mess and the hotel smells damp & musty.
The dining room is grand and well maintained, the food is pretty good.
The staff are friendly and helpful."

"Loved the old 17th century beams in the rooms and the uneven floors. Property was very quiet - even with the Football World Cup semi-final on while we were there. Staff were all incredibly helpful and loved the breakfast. 100% recommend and would love to take my dog next time as they are very dog friendly (they get a sausage at breakfast!)."
