"Very nicely presented property with most helpful staff. Our best stay by far on Skye"

"The staff were great"

"Beautiful hotel and room. Staff very nice and helpful. No tv in room. A bit overpriced"

"Really nice Inn, arrived and couldn't find anyone -so our check in was delayed. Nothing in vicinity to see or do, believe me we walked around for 30 minutes waiting to check in! However, the restaurant is great and the bar. Great food, staff lovely and high quality too for a small Inn in the countryside. Breakfast good, Inn convenient for the ferry."

"Clean room ! Food at the restarting was good. Staff was great!"

"The two gentlemen at the front were absolutely amazing! Both were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely good people. They always had a positive attitude and made us feel comfortable and appreciated. Their kindness and great customer service truly made our trip even better and more enjoyable. It’s people like them who make a place stand out. Thank you both for such a wonderful experience!"

"Gorgeous, warm, welcoming, lovely property just 15 minutes from Portree. The restaurant, Sprig, is also fabulous. We loved the hot sauna - what a treat! Cannot wait to return to Skye and stay here again!"

"Bit dated but charming. Staff were lovely and it was fun to meet some locals. Good food on a cold, rainy night."

"Beautiful setting, excellent food, comfortable room with a great view, informative distillery tour and no obligation to purchase."

"What a beautiful area. Marion went above and beyond to help us navigate our day and get us back to the Portree area. Thank you for a wonderful (albeit unexpected!) adventure."

"Great property. It is a remote location that is a bit of a drive to get to. It would be great (imho) for stays consisting of at least several days or longer. One suggestion for the property is to add a mirror over the bathroom sink. The mirror on the opposite wall isn’t as practical. Beautiful views and we enjoyed our stay! Thank you!"

"Cet hôtel a été rénové en 2025 et ça paraît. Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre grande chambre avec lits confortables et beaucoup d'espace. Le déjeuner est excellent et le souper aussi. Le personnel est sympathique, professionnel et courtois. Il manque un peu d'insonorisation dans la chambre mais c'est tout. Un très bon rapport qualité-prix et à peine 3 minutes du pont pour Skye. Je recommande fortement."

"The maintenance of the hotel is in poor condition. The hallway ceiling to our room was partially hanging down and looked like it had some water damage. Our hotel room door looked like it had previously been broken into as it was chiseled away at the lock. There was a stain on our ceiling, my headboard light switch knob had been snapped off so I had a tiny piece of broken plastic that I had to fiddle with to turn it on/off. The bathroom door got severely jammed every time you closed it and had...
